Jeremy Sinkus has been working with glass since 1998,
but not as his first art medium.  Metals and stone were the
main passions Jeremy followed until he found borosilicate
glass. Jeremy is an avid mineral, and fossil collector, he
has dug and sold minerals all over the country. Jeremy
has now incorporated this passion into his glass. With a
combination of his interests in both scuba diving
and minerals, he has found a near perfect medium to
create aquatic forms with iridescent and metallic coloring.

Jeremy has spent time on the ocean since he was a child.
From the fishing and snorkeling, to the beaches and tide-
pools. The ocean has influenced his life, bringing nature
and the arts together into a passion and profession. They
say one thing leads to another, and Jeremy’s glass art
has led him into the scuba diving world. Exhibiting at
scuba shows has inspired him to dive not only the cold
water of New England, but the warm waters of the
Caribbean and Hawaii as well.  Besides an introductory
lampworking class, Jeremy is primarily self taught. This
has given him the ability to develop a unique style.  Until
recently has he studied with both renown Glass artists,
Milon Townsend and Sally Prasch.

Because there is no use of any molds, every piece is a
one of a kind. Made of borosilicate glass, the same glass
used in cookware and scientific applications such as
beakers and test tubes.  Jeremy hopes to continue
exploring his artistic possibilities in lampworking by
furthering his research under the sea and on the
mountains.
Now a portion of all proceeds will be
